Sona Chandra

Sona is President & Co-founder of PangeAI, where she is  on a mission to harness the power of data and AI to enable the scalable translation of nature's metabolome into medicine. She is passionate about developing technology to revolutionize healthcare,  helping people and patients globally live healthier and happier lives. She was listed as one of Forbes 30 under 30 for her achievements in entrepreneurship and healthcare.

Prior to her work in AI and natural product discovery, Sona was  part of the original founding team for Oshi Health, a digital health platform and virtual provider practice for digestive health conditions driving personalized and advanced healthcare outcomes. Oshi  has gone on to raise over $23m in Series A funding, backed by top tier investors. She also previously was at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where she worked with the Chief Digital Officer to implement technology across the R&D and commercial sides of the business, and ultimately helped launch Takeda's digital health venture and incubation arm, spinning out new ventures that redesign the healthcare experience for patients.

Sona's background is in Biomedical Engineering with a dual degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology & Emory University. She has years of experience working in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
